Efforts in innovation and new product development, implementation of quality assurance programs and gender mainstreaming in the dairy value chain will also be awarded.
Details of the unique practices implemented by the winners will be shared during the award ceremony to provide lessons to other value chain actors who are striving to meet the demands of a highly competitive market environment. Adoption of best practices in the industry will enable the country to deliver dairy products to markets around the world competitively.
To enhance adoption of good practices in the industry, the award scheme will also provide a platform for sharing innovations and experiences among stakeholders and hence create an impetus transitioning the industry into a more productive and competitive dairy industry that meets not only local but international standards.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”ABOUT” tab_id=”1560232166567-c64fb226-f526″][vc_column_text]Kenya Dairy Board, in association with ESADA, are celebrating innovation and excellence across various categories of the dairy industry value chain.

  1. Complementary full conference registration at the 15th African Dairy Conference and Exhibition (15th AfDa), which is the largest and most comprehensive convergence of dairy stakeholders in Africa. (www.dairyafrica.com/afda)
  2. A special display of the winners’ products at the 15th AfDa Exhibition and during the pre-Awards Ceremony Cocktail. This will be in the presence of leading decision makers from around the globe.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted no later than Friday 19th July 2019.  Evaluation by the judges will take place one week after the submission deadline, after-which the top three (3) finalists from each category will be selected.
